Question: What are the hours of operation?
Answer: Seaside Cemetery’s office is open Monday thru Friday from 8am to 4pm. The office is closed on Saturday’s, Sunday’s and all Holidays. If you need assistance, we request you call 609-390-3642 prior to your arrival, as we might be helping other customers or have services scheduled.

Question: How do I obtain a headstone or marker for a grave?
Answer: By NJ State Law, Cemeteries cannot deal in headstones or markers. You must contact a monument dealer. A temporary marker can be obtained from your Funeral Director. Remember, these markers are used to only temporarily mark a grave, and a permanent marker should be purchased for the grave.

Question: How do I find the location of a grave?
Answer: Grave lookups can be done by calling the office during business hours or by sending an email to: seasidecemetery@comcast.net. We will usually get back to you on the next business day.

Question: How do I find information about someone buried in Seaside Cemetery?
Answer: By NJ State Law, the information that we are required to keep is the name, location, age, cause of death, date of burial and Funeral Director in charge of the burial. We will give that information out during regular office hours and at our convenience.

Question: Can I sell my grave back to Seaside Cemetery?
Answer: Seaside Cemetery will buy back graves on a case by case basis solely at our discretion. The grave must have been deeded. In most cases, we will purchase back for 50% of the purchase price, less perpetual care paid. Contact the cemetery office for details.

Question: Does Seaside Cemetery do genealogy look ups.
Answer: Seaside Cemetery will attempt to assist with multiple grave look ups only by regular mail or email to: seasidecemetery@comcast.net. The look ups will be done at our convenience and there is no charge.

Question: There has been a death in the family and I would like to use Seaside Cemetery, what do I do?
Answer: Call 609-390-3642 and we will be able to assist you.
